A different meal

Did you know that 8.000 (eight thousands) potato klubs were made for this year's Norsk Høstfest ! The grey balls are floating in melted butter, it looks rather awful. But when you get used to it, you love it, and you can eat it at least once a week. Potato clubs taste at its best on Thursdays. You can also eat them on Saturdays, but then they should be sliced and fried.

One Høstfest-goer ate 6 of these grey balls, sure he would not need much more food that day.

Potato clubs have many names in Norway, like komle, klubb, raspeball and kompe. Professionals have curdled milk with the potato klubs, and also salted mutton and mashed swedes.
