A sheriff visits Bakken in Skien

Sheriff Richard A. Randall visits the project manager of Telemark Heritage at Bakken in Skien.

When Randall became Sheriff 23 years ago, he recalls that he had 26 full time employees in his office. Now he said there are about 150 people who work in the sheriff's office. The population in Kendall, where Richard is sheriff, has increased by 89,6 % since 2000, and the estimated population is now more than 103.500 ! Nearly doubled in 9 years !!

Since the 2001 attacks, Randall has also been active in national and international terrorism and intelligence panels, talking with leaders of police agencies worldwide about issues related to terrorism.
Randall has participated in the Global Justice Information Sharing Initiative's Global Intelligence Working Group, organized by the U.S. Department of Justice, since 2002. He also is involved with Project North Star, an international group that deals with security issues at the U.S.-Canada border.

So Richard Randall is a very interesting person to have a visit with. We very much hope that he will visit Skien and Telemark again.
