Participants from Faculty of Arts, Culture and Teacher Education at Telemark University College, Notodden Campus visit Minot State University in Minot ND in May 2009.(more).
Mr. Anders Davidsen (Head of Studies in Teacher Education), Ms. Hjørdis Hjukse (Coordinator for the online MA Arts & Design Education), Ms. Kirsten L. Kruse (Lecturer of Norwegian in Teacher Education), Bodil Akselvoll (Head of the Department of Folk Art and Folk Music), and Ms. Liv Ertzgaard Ringen (Lecturer of Art and Crafts) visit Minot State University in May 2009. They will have some busy days in Minot and they will meet a number of people from the university, among others President David Fuller and Dr. Rabe, great friends of Skien and Telemark. Included in their visit is also a meeting at Minot High School, visit to Scandinavian Heritage Center, visit to Ft. Stevenson State Park, to Medora (ND) and Bismarck, the capital of North Dakota. In Knife River Indian Village near Washburn (ND) the group will have a behind the scenes docent lead tour of artifacts, pottery, bead works that are not on display. They will also visit areas not available to the public.
We feel for sure that this is an important visit in connection with the collaboration between North Dakota and Telemark.
