Vesterheim Museum on a Rosemaling Tour to Telemark in September
For more than 30 years, Vesterheim has been providing unique educational experiences on tours to Norway. In September a tour group from Vesterheim comes to Telemark, and they will be here for nearly two weeks.
From September 8 to September 20 a rosemaling group from Vesterheim Museum visits Telemark. They will attend a seven days of rosemaling instruction in Bø, and their instructor is Turid Helle Fatland. Inspiration for Telemark rosemaling they will find by visiting places like Heddal Stave Church, Dalen Hotel, Evju Bygdetun, the Norwegian Ski Adventure Center in Morgedal, the Rauland Academy, Eidsborg Stave Church, and Brekke Museum in Skien. They will also find time to visit Dyrsku'n at Seljord and the locks at Ulefoss and Lunde. If you want to say hello to the group you might find them at Bø Hotel.
