Young boys and girls visit Skien and Telemark
A group of 13 young boys and girls came to Skien on Friday Aug 21 to visit Skien Rotary Club. This is a Round Trip group, and they come from eleven different countries: Turkey, Israel, Belgium, Germany, Slovakia, Sweden, Hungary, Poland, France, Austria and Tsjekkia.(more).
The youths have been paddling in lake Fjellvannet in Skien, and they have been barbequing at a farm in Gjerpen. What they enjoyed most was the day they had in in the Himalaya Park, which is part of the Skien Fritidspark/Sports-park. They have been on the canal boat from Lunde to Skien, and to the WWII Museum and the Ice Cream Plant in Brevik.
